Bertrand Coste was admitted to the Bar in 1994.
After graduating in maritime law from the University of Aix-Marseilles he joined the firm Villeneau Rohart Simon in 1995 and later opened the branch office in Marseilles. He became a partner in 2006.
Bertrand’s practice covers all aspects of classic maritime law and is particularly experienced in complex technical expert matters, such as ship repairs.
As a keen sailor Bertrand has acquired a strong reputation for his experience in the world of megayachts (advising on and litigating in matters of racing rules, drafting contracts for the sale, construction and chartering of vessels and dispute resolution) as well as disputes relating to ship finance and customs regulations.
